Lord, hear my prayer and my cry for mercy in these days of troubles.

 I am listening to the hymn Psalm 86. This hymn has been playing again and again the last few days especially we were reading it in our prayer meeting last week.

 It is a comfort Psalm. Who wouldn’t love Psalm, Psalm is always comforting that you know our Saviour is there and the promise is there.

 Dear Heavenly Father,

 Forgive me as I haven’t been obeying fully lately. Lord teach me your way, help me to me more a submissive wife and godly woman and mother according to your Word. Lord, grant me patience and grace, Lord, as I am poor and needy, I need thy grace and mercy and help for everyday’s situation. Children have been pretty wild and as I am pregnant, there are more pain physically and patience is very limited. Lord, I do not want to use hormones or anything to make it as an excuse, but Lord, I need you, I need grace upon grace to face every minute’s situation. Lord, I need your grace and mercy. It is so hard that I cannot do it all by myself, Lord, draw me closer to You and Your Word.

Lord, You are a great God, and You are a merciful God. Thank you for listening my prayer. Lord, thank you for the children that you have given to me, even though me and children are not always patient with each other and there are fights happening but Lord, help us grow and be more like Jesus Christ every day. Teach us your way. Even everyday is wild, but when I look at the pictures the kids draw and the little picnic that my oldest set up (like the picture up there), my heart melt and I am thankful that you have given these kids for me to minister and grow together. Lord, thank you.

In Jesus’s name I pray, Amen.

 Psalm 86

1 Incline your ear, O Lord, and answer me,
    for I am poor and needy.
Preserve my life, for I am godly;
    save your servant, who trusts in you—you are my God.
Be gracious to me, O Lord,
    for to you do I cry all the day.
Gladden the soul of your servant,
    for to you, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving,
    abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you.
Give ear, O Lord, to my prayer;
    listen to my plea for grace.
In the day of my trouble I call upon you,
    for you answer me.

There is none like you among the gods, O Lord,
    nor are there any works like yours.
All the nations you have made shall come
    and worship before you, O Lord,
    and shall glorify your name.
10 For you are great and do wondrous things;
    you alone are God.
11 Teach me your way, O Lord,
    that I may walk in your truth;
    unite my heart to fear your name.
12 I give thanks to you, O Lord my God, with my whole heart,
    and I will glorify your name forever.
13 For great is your steadfast love toward me;
    you have delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol.

14 O God, insolent men have risen up against me;
    a band of ruthless men seeks my life,
    and they do not set you before them.
15 But you, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious,
    slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness.
16 Turn to me and be gracious to me;
    give your strength to your servant,
    and save the son of your maidservant.
17 Show me a sign of your favor,
    that those who hate me may see and be put to shame
    because you, Lord, have helped me and comforted me.
